There are several llama and alpaca events and shows held in Arizona and the southwestern region each year.  These are some events you may wish to attend.

2008 Arizona State Fair

This is the inaugural Arizona State Fair Llama Show.  It is an ALSA-sanctioned llama show with all 4 wool divisions being offered for halter, along with novice and advanced in the performance division.

Entry fees are low, and the fair is paying out very nice premiums to 6th place, as well as Premiums for Best of Show and Performance Grand & Reserve.  Judge: TBA.

The Southwest Fiber Arts guild proudly announces the 2008 Southwest Fiber Festival.  The festival will have fiber vendors, classes and fiber livestock, and is being held at the beautiful Amado Territiry Ranch just 30 minutes south of Tucson.
