Harmony - Sept 09

Whyspered Har'mony of Pinnacle Peak
(Cloud Peak's Chilean Outlaw x Koko Moka of Pinnacle Peak)
Two Year Old Female
ILR#246976
dob 3/22/07

SOLD!  Thank you and congratulations to Rick & Mary Adams of Wild Oak Llamas, Grass Valley, CA!

Harmony is one of our best, and she is currently being offered for sale.  She is, by anyone's standards, one of the most beautiful llamas you will find.  At two and a half years old, she is one of the tallest llamas in the herd and measures at least 45" at the withers, so far.

She has been shown quite a bit in 2008, taking Grand Champion, Reserve Champion, Supreme Champion and finishing out the year in the Top 10 HWYF at Nationals with a 6th place.  She was Reserve Grand Champion Heavy Wool Female at the Yavapai County Fair llama show in October.

Harmony is a daughter of Chilean Outlaw (Richochet x a Chasca daughter) and Koko Moka (a Kokomo daughter).  She is a dilute bay paint, and should produce some very colorful offspring.

Outlaw is a Grand Champion himself and has placed Top 10 at Nationals twice; he took a 1st at the 2009 Celebration show in Oklahoma City this past April, as a six year old in a class of some of the nation's top studs.

If you are looking to add some colorful, correct, and tall genes with a lot of fleece coverage to your herd, Harmony is an excellent choice.

Shown here in September 2009, au naturale.

Pinnacle Peak's Ginger Flower
(Cloud Peak's Kokomo x Joy Noel)
Yearling Female
ILR#273598
born 3/16/08

1st place - Yearling Heavy Wool Females
2009 Arizona State Fair
Qualified already for 2010 ALSA Regionals

This beautiful girl is our last Kokomo daughter, bred before he left for North Carolina.  She is a dilute agouti female with super fine fleece that locks and shimmers.  All of her full siblings have had an average of 20 micron fleece.   Ginger has the large bone from her sire Kokomo as well as his heavy fleece coverage.

She will be bred to our herd sire Chilean Outlaw when she is of breeding age.  Ginger looks a lot like her half sister Koko Moka, who produced Whyspered Harmony and Whymsical Melodie for us with Outlaw.

Currently available for sale for $2500; includes a breeding to our incredible herdsire Chilean Outlaw when she is of breeding age.  SOLD!

Ginger Flower - 2008 female

Joy Noel
(JLL Berry Black x Super Chief Express)
Breeding Female
dob 12/25/96

Joy is a beautiful breeding female who has produced some very nice crias for us.  She has had 7 out of 7 healthy crias, and she delivered all unassisted.  Her milk production is heavier than any other female you'll find, and her crias grow extremely well.

The other quality that Joy has and passes on to every cria is her super-fine fleece.  All of her crias' fleeces have been in the low 20 micron range (20.2 to 20.9, 22.7), and they have had nice lock structure as well.  She has consistently improved the fiber quality of every cria she's produced, and with several different sires.

Whymsical Melodie of Pinnacle Peak
(Cloud Peak's Chilean Outlaw x Koko Moka of Pinnacle Peak)
Yearling Female
dob 4/19/08
ILR#274110

Melodie is Moka's 2nd cria, and is a full sister to our Whyspered Har'mony.  She is a dilute bay paint with her sire's distinctive grey eye patches.

At just over a year old now, she is a tall girl and still growing.  Her fleece is a combination of grey, white and dilute bay and should be interesting when shorn.

Melodie will make a great companion llama with her sweet, inquisitive personality.

SOLD!  Thank you and congratulations to the Bangerter family on their purchase of Melodie!

Jack has a friendly temperament and likes to interact with people.  This beautiful boy is as sweet as he looks.  Capt Jack is a paint with a silky fleece, and he has his sire's refined face.

Always the first to greet me in the morning, Jack will be a wonderful companion to some lucky owner.  He has the mellow, laid-back personality that we breed for in all of our llamas.

Full brother to: Sinbad of Pinnacle Peak, owned by Jerry & Carolyn Ayers of Walnut Creek Llama Farm.

Qualified for the 2009 ALSA Regionals.

SOLD!  Thank you  and congratulations to Jerry & Carolyn Ayers of Walnut Ridge Llama Farm in Chuckey, TN, on their purchase of Sinbad!

Sinbad is a beautiful white and reddish bay paint with a super-high luster, true single coat fleece, average 22 microns. He is a heavy wool male with wool coverage down to his toes on all four feet.

His sire, Chilean Outlaw, is a well-known stud in the Southwest, sired by the great Richochet.  Outlaw has his ROM, numerous Reserves and Grand Champion awards, and has taken Top 10 twice at Grand Nationals.  His dam, Jewel, has also done well in the show ring.  Jewel is one of our 'keeper' Kokomo daughters, who is 46" tall at the withers and well over 6 feet at the poll (top of head).

Sinbad's shorn fleece placed 6th place at the Nationals Fleece Show in October 2008 in the very large and competitive Single Coat division.

Pistolero Amado
(Cloud Peak's Chilean Outlaw x Athena of Pinnacle Peak)
Yearling Male
born June 20, 2007

'Pistol' is a very handsome dilute paint, as is his dam Athena.  He is getting some very nice fleece on him in a range of colors - white to silver to fawn.  Both of his parents are over 46" at the withers, and Pistol is already tall for his age.

This boy has a great personality and will make an excellent llama for someone wanting to start with a couple of really nice boys.

SOLD - Congratulations to Norma Redish of Flagstaff, AZ!

sept07prince.jpg

Pinnacle Peak's Prince of Thieves
(Cloud Peak's Chilean Outlaw x Joy Noel)
Yearling Male
born March 16, 2007

This beautiful boy is Outlaw's first-born cria, and we are super pleased with him.  He is a colorful calico paint who also has the wild agouti pattern with appaloosa spots.  I cannot find any guard hairs on him, which tells me he should have a single-coat fleece.

His dam, Joy Noel, has the best fiber in our herd (even at the age of 10!) and she reproduces it every time; this boy is no exception.  Having bred her to Outlaw, I expected great things, and she did not disappoint.  Prince's fleece micron count came in at an average of 22.7 microns, with a standard deviation of 4.7.

SOLD!  Congratulations to Karen Freund of Phoenix, Arizona, on her purchase of Prince of Thieves!

Apollo is the latest result of our tried-and-tested combination of Kokomo and Sienna.  His full siblings stand 46" at the withers, and he should grow to the same impressive height.  This gold, silver and white coloring is the 3rd time Sienna has produced it with Kokomo out of 4 breedings.

When I saw Apollo at the April Maricopa show, I was amazed at the size and substance of this young male.  The amount of wool and bone on his legs is tremendous - he is taking after his sire Kokomo for sure!  He is just beautiful.

Inca is an exceptional young female who we sold at the 2003 Llama Futurity Association sale in Louisville, Kentucky.  Her striking white, red and silver color pattern is very similar to her sire, Kokomo, as well as his grandsire, B.T. Huckstable.  With an average micron count of 20.3, Inca's fleece is also exceptional and was recently woven into a beautiful huck-pattern shawl.

Kokopelli at Indio show

Kokopelli of Pinnacle Peak
(Cloud Peak's Kokomo x Joy Noel)
ILR#256990
born 4/25/04

Kokopelli is the first male born to our stud, Cloud Peak's Kokomo, after having had 5 girls in a row.  This boy is all male.  The very first time I saw him, he had slipped into Kokomo's corral and was kushed on his dad's hill.  I knew right then that he must be a boy.

Kokopelli's coloring is a smoke grey with silver accents from his ears to the tip of his tail.  Both of his full sisters have been tested and have an average micron count of 20.4 and 20.8.  Kokopelli's fleece is pencil-locked and is almost a single-coat with very little guard hairs.  His first shearing yielded an average micron count of 20.2 microns.
