Here are some of the shawls that I have woven with my handspun llama yarns.

Llama yarns used in shawls

These are the yarns used in the shawls.  The white is a silky llama from our herdsire, Chilean Outlaw.  It has a lot of luster to it, as you can see from the picture, which comes out in the finished piece.

The chocolate brown is a double-coat llama blend from our Koko Moka and Bella Zora.  This color mates up wonderfully with the white to highlight the patterns in the shawls.

Llama Shawl #2

This photo shows the second llama shawl.  Here I used some small skeins of Outlaw's white plied with some camel/silk I had on my wheel.  I used this yarn in bands in the warp to give the shawl just a little bit more color.  Outlaw's yarn has enough luster in it to rival and compliment the silk.
